Hi guys and congratulations for the blog!!

I’m a Bartender from Rome and wanted to have a work experience in Granada to learn Spanish.

Can you suggest a list of the finest cocktail bar (if you have time to get the addresses and websites if they have any) in town where people really like to enjoy cocktails not only to get drunk?

Is it difficult to work in bars overthere if you know just a little spanish to start with?

Nobody so far has managed to get me Verdi Cocteleria’s address and telephone number, will you get it for me?

Maybe if I found a job there I’ll make you some of my nice drinks with spices like a sage and pineapple martini ;)

Thanks a lot in advance for you help

Shannon,
It has been a really long time since I last talked to you… well since you left for Seattle. I googled Kerry, and this is how I found you, although, I have been corresponding with your mom at least once a year since I turned 20. My kids asked me the other day why I always write “peabut” on the grocery list and I told them the other night about Kerry. Her and I were sitting on the front porch of the white house in NW Denver and your mom had asked her to write a grocery list, and she wrote peabut for peanut butter and we laughed so hard. I still write that on every list. I was kept in the dark about her disappearance when I was in 7th grade to protect me I guess, but I still miss her today. And on a lighter note, I am so happy to hear about your successes and marriage and traveling (your mom fills me in). Take care Shannon…write me sometime… I’d love to hear from you.
Erin

Hi Erin! Thanks so much for sharing a memory with so much laughter in it!!! I love it and I can just picture you two laughing away together on the porch. My mom brought a photo you had sent her of you and your kids (which, honestly, blows my mind because of course I can’t begin to think of you as being old enough to be a MOM!!).

Now of course I’ll have to start putting “peabut” on my grocery list. Thanks for that.
